Localis launched a major report entitled: Catalyst Councils: a new future for local public service delivery, produced in association with Capita Symonds, on 13 September.
Rt. Hon. Oliver Letwin MP, Minister for Government Policy, and Cllr Sir Merrick Cockell, Chairman of the Local Government Association and Leader of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, spoke at the event at our Westminster offices.
This report provides an analysis of innovative ways of delivering services that local authorities are engaging with, analysing some of the key themes and issues emerging from these approaches, and offers recommendations on removing barriers to innovation.
