James Morris to stand down as Chief Executive

James Morris is to stand down as Chief Executive of Localis following his election to the House of Commons as MP for Halesowen and Rowley Regis.

A process to find a replacement has already begun and in the meantime business will continue as usual.

Merrick Cockell, Chairman of the Board, comments “We are very sad to be losing James but delighted that he has been elected MP for Halesowen and Rowley Regis. As Chief Executive he has set Localis on a new path, stimulating debate and thinking about decentralising power. With perfect timing, he now has the opportunity to pursue localism in Parliament. The Board and staff of Localis wish him all success”
