UK policy towards the EU has long been driven by domestic concerns about loss of sovereignty. As this country looks towards a referendum in 2018, Jesse Norman argued that the real challenges go well beyond this–to the long-term political legitimacy and economic success of the EU itself.
Jesse Norman MP was Parliamentarian and Backbencher of the Year in 2012, and sits on the Treasury Select Committee. His new biography of Edmund Burke ? described by Matthew D’Ancona as “a must-read for anyone interested in politics or history” ? is published in May.
