Localis gives evidence to Lib Dems

Tom Shakespeare last week gave evidence to the Liberal Democrat Localism Working Group. The Group, chaired by Lord Wallace, is seeking to develop Lib Dem policy in the lead up to the election.
The session was held on Thursday 26th Noevmber in Portcullis House.
The main two issues which Tom brough to the Group’s attention were in regard to the centralised performance and assessment regime, known as CAA, and also on the issues surrounding redistribution and equalisation.
In the New Year Localis will be producing some detailed conclusions on CAA.
