Taxpayers will be able to rate the performance of schools, nurseries and the police under a planned shake-up of public services, in proposals that it is claimed were ‘buried’ on the Cabinet Office’s website. Localis believes that improved user accountability of public services is vitally important, and measures that are aimed at improving the dire current situation should be welcomed.
